Use as second driver for short par 4's and shots over trees and doglegs. Very workable and the small head(compared to a 460cc)sets up well at adress. I have the 11.5 VFT Pro which hits the ball rather high(that's why I got it) and did I say fairly long. Problem is there's not many of these left in mint condition.

Love the smaller(300cc)head. Use as a 2nd driver in 11.5 loft. Great for tight par 4's and hitting high shots(cutting doglegs,over trees,etc.)when needed. Square face and smaller size better suited for lower hcps. Plenty of pop for one who can hit the sweet spot consistently.

It's important to remember this was a club made for players with higher clubhead speeds (that's why it's called "Pro Series.")
The center of gravity is much higher and more toward the front of the club than any club Callaway has made. I liked it then precisely because it came off low and hot, and for a high ball hitter like me that's good. It served its purpose for the time, and that's all one can ask for. Today, it might be only useful for players who play on windy courses who need a lower ball flight. But it is certainly not recommended for anyone who doesn't have a 107+ MPH clubhead speed.

The club has a smallish sweet spot but when you get it, Bam!! it takes off and feels great. Pretty forgiving considering the hitting surface. Can't go wrong for the money on this driver.

Maybe it is just me but I can't seem to get the ball in the air with this club. Feel is great but that is about all I can say that is good of the club for me.

Excellent club given it's technology is a little out of date now. Having the face shimmed open was a big bonus as well. Great club for the money.
