The Callaway Diablo Octane Driver is made from revolutionary Forged Composite, a new material that is stronger and lighter than titanium. The clubhead is lighter, made from over 1 million turbostratic carbon fibers, and still maintains an incredibly high MOI. The longer shaft and lighter weight create faster ball speeds for an average of 8 more yards than the Diablo Edge Driver.

    • Forged Composite™: Stronger and lighter than titanium with an incredibly high MOI and a longer shaft. 33% of the clubhead is reinforced by 1 million turbostratic carbon fibers. Faster ball and head speeds mean an average of 8 yards over Diablo Edge™ Driver.
    • Hyperbolic Face Technology™: A selective reduction process removes excess material for precise thickness control and consistently high ball speed across the face.
    • Project X™ Graphite Shaft: The perfect complement to the Diablo Octane Driver, with a longer high performance shaft for maximum feel and performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Driver All I can say is Callaway all the way. This driver had me in the in the fairways playing in the short grass and added 20 to 30 yards longer on every drive, straight down the fairway, incredible club...everyone should have one. THANKS CALLAWAY you are the king of clubs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Club Really good feedback when hit. Have used Callaway consistently in the past until tried something else the past two years. Unhappy with the feel and feedback so went back to Callaway. I am a female senior so thought I was losing distance with age, but Callaway proved that to be incorrect. Happy once again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Where did my slice go? Today was my first day using this club...generally happy with the performance...boy did it go straight! Took me a bit to get used to the 11.5 loft, but I figured that out pretty quick. Doesn't make the prettiest sound, but when I hit it right on it went where I wanted it and I got more distance than my old driver. I wish I had upgraded to a different grip...otherwise I am a happy camper and am sure once we get used to each other great things will happen!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this driver! I have a Diablo Octane driver and because my wife simply could not get any distance with her old driver, I got her one too. From her first day, she has been in love with it! She is consistently hitting longer drives than she has ever done before. Practically after every tee shot, she turns to me and asks, "Have I told you how much I love this driver?"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Straight and Long Received this as a gift to replace my 15 year old driver. I had no idea what I was missing! Tee shots are long and not int he woods any more, easy to swing, wish I had not been too cheap to buy my own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 20 MORE YARDS? IT'S TRUE!!! Finally decided to get fit for a driver on a launch monitor. Have been playing Titleist drivers last 11 years. Went to Golf Galaxy in Charlotte NC on Providence Road. Hit my 909D2 10.5, total distance average was 255. I knew the fitter was telling the truth because my average drives at my home course with no wind are between 250-260. I hit the Ping G15, Taylormade Burner 2.0, Cobra S3, and results were all the same. The fitter told me about 30% of people who get fitted for a driver do not make any significant gains. I asked him if I could try just 1 more, the Callaway, he didn't have the RazrX in 10.5 with stiff but had the Diablo Octane. Now is where it get's funny! I hit the first ball and he said "Wait a minute, something is wrong with the monitor, hit another one". He had this shocked look on his face. I hit the last 3 and clubhead speed was up 5mph, avg drive was 275 and center line variance was only average of 5.7 off! In the back of my mind I thought "No way, I haven't averaged 275 of the tee since rotator cuff surgery 8 years ago". I really believed he was lying to me just to make a sale, so I reluctantly bought the club.(lol) I have played 36 holes with it at my home course, and unless I make a horrible swing with it, I get a nice 2-5 yard draw that goes 20 yards farther than my normal drives had been. I haven't had "fun" hitting off the tee since my surgery, but now I am again! The only thing I would change is the grip, I like the feel of the multi-compound better, but that is just personal preference. Thanks so much Callaway! Hitting it longer is FUN!
