  • Q:

whats the difference between the x-forged TA and the x-prototypes?

    Asked on 12/14/2009 by Anonymous

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

The X-Forged TA and X-Prototypes are both made for the lower handicap player, who wants to shape the ball. The X-Forged TA will be a little bit more forgiving than the X-Prototypes, and the Prototypes are more of a Muscle Back designed iron.

  • Q:

whats the difference between the T.A. x-forged and the 2007 x forged?

      A:

The TA X-Forged Irons will be a little bit thinner on the top line, and have a little less bounce than the 2007 X-Forged irons. Overall, they will play very similarly.

      A:

They are both very similar and have the same clubhead visually, however the Tour Authentic forged irons will have a little bit thinner top line and smaller face and different bounce angles. For more information please call our sales department at 1-800-200-4726.

  • Q:

My son is 13 and is scoring in the high 30's, low 40's for 9 holes. He hits the ball very cleanly. Are the x forged irons a good product for him? He has been playing for just over a year and wants to keep improving.

      A:

All of our X-Forged irons are directed toward the low handicap, consistent ball striking player. If your son consistently hits the ball in the middle of the club face, these irons would be a good fit as he would be able to work the ball more each way. These clubs will also not be forgiving on off-center hits.

What degree loft is the Pitching and Sand iron please

      A:

Loft on the PW is 47°. We don't make a SW in that model. You have to go with one of the X-forged wedges and can choose your loft.
