Rated 5 out of 5 by Josh Best irons I have ever used
I just played my first round with these clubs... and shot my best score in 10 years. These clubs are super accurate for me, and very forgiving. And long, did I mention long? On the fourth hole, a short par 5, I went driver, 4 iron and was 20 yards over the green. Once I adjusted my distances, I was throwing darts all day.
I hit a few thin, and the ball still traveled almost as far as a clean hit (though maybe a little left). A shot off the toe felt bad, but ended up on the fringe. These clubs are forgiving, but give good feedback and feel great. I demo'd the Diablo Edge's and they hit good too, but there was no feel. Good and bad shots felt the same. While the results were good, I prefer the feedback. And the 'feedback' when you hit a RAZR X pure is sublime.
Wish I would have made the switch sooner. Thanks Callaway Preowned for great, fast service and for producing the best irons on the market (IMO). I bought them in "Good" condition, and they were as advertised. Would by again (and again, and again, and again...), but I won't have to. I am not giving up these clubs without a fight :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Crafty Best I've ever hit!!
Got the Razors with graphite shafts. I've hit more pure shots in the last two weeks than I have in the last year. Mishits are much more forgiving. I have a lot more confidence just looking down to address the ball. Just wish I'd made the upgrade a year ago!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Badback Mack Great shot feedback, long, easy to work, very good grips, nice setup look.
I think a review should cover alot, so bare with me. I am 57 and have had 3 back surgeries. I looked for over 2 years for a new set of irons. Golf is all I have for exercise. I played 5 rounds before writing this. The razr x irons on avg. are about 8 to 12 yards longer than any clubs I hit. My old PW was my 100 yd. club. Now I must hit a soft SW. My 130 club was an 8iron now an easy 9. At 150 I use to hit a 6 or 5, now my 7 gets there on the fly. I am not a big hitter and I must use Graphite shafts for my back, but its nice to be able to hit the same irons as my playing buddies. Now keep in mind this is march in kentucky so when it gets warmer I might have to readjust again. I am an 8 handicap so I don't work the ball alot, but I can fade and draw a little. The best aspect of these clubs for me is the feedback I get when I work them. I stopped useing blades because of the stinging on mishits. These Razr x irons dont sting but have a slight vibration on mishits. The difference being the distance is still good on mishits. At set up these irons are easy on the eye's and are easy to line up. The grips are better than avg. and fit my hands well. I have long fingers so keep that in mind. I was using hybrids but these irons came with a 4 iron and I could not believe how easy it was to hit. Having the 5 iron for the 165 yard range, and the 4 for 170 to 180, I now have with my fairway woods (5&3) full coverage up to my Driver. My 170 to 190 yarders was one of my weak spots. They cut through the rough really well and they seem to be easier to get up in the air faster than my old irons. I had my heart set on buying the x24 hot irons or the new taylormade, but honestly they are just not the clubs these razr x's are. For me anyway. We play on hard fast greens and it's nice to know that I can now stop my ball and on some shots even backspin them. That is a very big deal for me. Buying new clubs for me was a big decision, because of budget issues. I hope this helps out. One more thing, call the reps at preowned they helped me alot and told me a couple of things I didn't think of. Good luck and hit away!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by JDP Razor X Irons are very Good
I do love these new clubs. I have gained back the 10 yards of distance I had lost and they are very accurate. My one negative comment is the configuration of the wedges in respect to their set up 44 Degrees for the P 49 for the A and 54 for the S is different than any set I have played and is taking some getting used to. Good for Callaway though I am lokking at getting two wedges a 52 and a 56 degree

Rated 5 out of 5 by Maine Golfer Very Nice Irons
Purchased these irons as an upgrade from the 06 Big Berthas. Very happy with these irons. They have a very nice feel and excellent balance. When I first got the 06 BB's, It took me several months to get used to them, these felt great right from the start. Very happy with the purchase. This is also the 10th time I've purchased from Callaway preowned and have always received quality products with excellent customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mike Razr X Irons/ Hybrids
The clubs have a great feel and are a bit longer than the Adams Idea irons I have been using for the past 6 years. The Hybrids are great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jeff 2 seasons on razors
I found that after using the irons, the first season I also lost 10 yds distance compared to my 2003 big berthas. however now that i slowed my swing speed and hit a slight draw I actually gained 4 yds.
swing speed about 84.
the only draw back was that the wedge developed a crack in the lower shaft. so i subbed in my older 10 iron. maybe calloway would contact me if they have a used wedge.
I carry a 8 handicap and recomend these irons for anyone with a trained swing.
