I just bought the RAZR X MUSCLE BACK irons a month ago. I am a junior golfer, sixteen years old. I play for my high school team and play amateur tournaments. Previous to these irons i played the callaway X-20 irons, they are great clubs for those people who want hitting the golf ball to be easy. I wanted irons that had more feel that i could control better and shape shots with. I love having irons that do all these things they are exactly what i was looking for. However it took three weeks of hard practice everyday to get used to them, they are not very forgiving and need a consistent golfer using them. I would recommend them only to the serious golfer.

I traded my FT irons for a "combo" set with these and Razr X Forged. I have these in my 7-9 irons and all I can say is WOW!! I am by no means a scratch golfer, but I have not lost any distance. Even with the weaker, more traditional lofts. Ball lands softly with every iron. I have gotten my 8, and 9 iron to back up. Something I've never been able to do with ANY iron I've owned. The one thing that I have noticed, is that with the use of these clubs, my overall ball striking with all clubs has improved greatly. I still hit a bad one or two, but as long as the face is square at impact, you'll just lose distance, but it can slice and hook with the best of them on a bad mishit. Overall, I recommend these to any person looking to take their game to the next level. Never be intimidated by forged blades. The only thing they can do is make you better in the long run and help you perfect your swing.

Bought this set to replace the brand new RAZR Forged irons that were stolen a few days before. I grew up playing blades and with the Muscle backs I remembered that I can work the ball. I will not hit anything else unless they come out with new Muscle backs.

These are the best irons I've ever played. Extremely accurate and predictable with great feel. Purely struck shots feel like butter. These irons are more forgiving than they look. Mishits do suffer a distance loss. These irons will be in my bag for the foreseeable future. I don't think I could find any better!
I bought mine in Like New condition and they were brand new irons, still in their plastic bags. If you are a consistent ball striker do yourself a favor and try these irons.

I enjoy the clean look and solid feel of the Callaway muscleback irons. They really fit my eye and I want feedback through my hands when/if I mishit a shot. Most perimeter cavity back irons feel a bit hollow to me and Callaway has done a good job with this club....thanks to Phil and fellow Callaway tour pros taking from Prototype to the shelf!

Ordered these with Flighted 7.0's. Received them last Wednesday. Hit them Friday. All I can say is WOW! They are absolutely perfect. Great flight thru the entire set. Great spin with long irons, also. They are more forgiving than any other blade I've hit. Feel like absolute butter when hit purely. Ready for warm weather to get out of winter mode. Overall awesome clubs. Glad I bought these irons!

These irons have incredible feel and it is very easy to work the ball either way. They provide immediate feedback and they provide a very controlled and consistent ball flight. The one knock on them is that are not very forgiving so you better bring your "A Game" if you intend to play these irons. If you are a serious golfer who likes the incredibly soft feel and consistent ball flight and wants to "go low", these irons are for you!
