RAZR X HL Irons
These are great clubs, I had X20's in the past and found for as much as I play these clubs allow me to swing easy and play with confidence. Even shots that are not struck well launch high and fly far.

I love my new irons.
I traded in my R11 after 8 months. I hit my buddy's Razr X HL and fell in love. Never had irons that gave me such distance and launch.
I was hitting my R11's 7 iron about 155 to 165. With the Razr X HL. I'm hitting them 170 to 175 consisitantly.
Great forgivness, feel, and control. Great balance and yes a bit thicker than my last irons, but forgot abou tthem after I hole or two.
I highly recomend this to anyone, wanting to improve thier short game.

Best Irons Yet
I've been a callaway guy for the last 8 years. I've owned the X-20's, Diablo Edges, and the Razr X's.
By chance, I tried these clubs on the range as one of my friends just got them. From the first hit, I knew that I was going to have to trade in for these irons. I loved my Razr X's accurracy, but I lost about half a club from my Diablo Edges, and my ball flight was a little lower. As soon as I picked up the Razr X HL's, I was hitting the ball higher and longer than anytime previously.
After my outdoor range experience, I went to an indoor range, and hit the Razr X's and Razr X HL's to get a real comparison. I gained an average of at least half a club. For instance with my Razr X's I was hitting my 7 iron 147-150 consistently. With the Razr X HL's I was hitting the 7 Iron 155-158.
These HL irons are long and very forgiving. I can still feel the mishits, but there is a not a tremendous amount of loss of yardage and/or direction. Also, I really do like the two line system on the end of the irons for alignment purposes (there's one long line and a second shorter line).
I would highly recommend these Iron to almost anyone. As others have said if you have a really high launch already or already have problems with ballooning irons, these irons may not be the ones for you.

dead on, straight, pure power
Very comfortable & forgiving
Great distance without much effort
Pin straight shots
Accuracy is what it's all about & these clubs do generate the perfect shot
The grips, however, are a little abrasive but do provide a very firm and confident feel
Sweet spot seems to be the entire club face

These agressive irons have added the distance and confidence back that I had lost over the years. Before my HL, 8 iron 130. With my Callaway HL Irons, 8 iron 147 consistently shot after shot, with no added effort! Same swing! 10-15 added yards per iron! Love my Callaway HL high launch and soft landings! Can't wait to get out again!

This is my 4th set of Callaway irons and the first with the light(A) shaft. They are definitely the best. They really get the ball high in the air with outstanding distance and accuracy.

Best SGI iron set that I've hit
I quit golf for 10 years and just got back into it about 18 months ago. During this time, I've gone though a lot of sets of irons searching for one that worked well for me. I've owned SGI sets from NIke, Adams, Cleveland, TaylorMade and Callaway (Big Bertha 2008, and Diablo Edge). Of the sets, I had the best luck with the Diablo Edges.
I stupidly sold them to go to an all hybrid set which was a mistake. The performance wasn't there on anything other than a flat lie or very soft ground and I lost all confidence in my irons. I also hated the tiny sound and feel of the hybrid iron set.
I decided to come back to Callaway irons and went with the Razr X HLs. They seemed to be the continuation of the Big Bertha line, and very similar to the Diablo Edges, but with the TPU insert.
I really like TPU insert clubs, and this is actually what made me decide to go with the HLs over getting another set of Diablos. These perform as I'd expect based on other insert clubs, removing some of the "shock" on mishits.
The HL have been like returning to an old friend. I'd been fighting a fade (which could turn into a slice later in a round) since switching away from the Diablos, My straight to draw ball flight returned on the very first swing. Hello! If anything, my miss now is left, which is a wonderful thing for a lifetime slicer.
Ball flight is very high. That's to be expected and what I purchased. I haven't seen any loss of distance though against my hybrid iron set or my Diablos.
If I have any knock on this set it is about the sound. The Diablos had a wonderful "thwack" sound on well struck balls. I think the TPU insert removes that some. These don't sound bad by any stretch, but are much more muted. I kind of miss that "thwack." .
Overall, I'm very pleased. This is exactly what a SGI iron should be. I don't see these leaving the bag for quite some time.

I purchased the Razr X HL after being fitted at a golf specialty store. I had been playing X20's for the last 5 years and could not seem to get my handicap to move. I am lucky to play once per month during the summer months as my other obligations keep me very busy. After just 4 months, though, my handicap has dropped from a 31 to a 26, with nothing other than these new clubs. These clubs are very forgiving, get the ball up amazingly good and inspire confidence on every shot.
I would highly recommend these clubs to anyone who wants to improve their game.
