Last year I won my CC with brand X, went to a new fitter at a local golf warehouse store to treat myself to new irons and he put me in these Callaway's. All by the numbers on the screen. I picked up 10+ yards a club. The Razr's cut my side spin in half if not more. Now when my ball lands it rolls straight forward and not sideways. I liked my brand X's but they never had this kind of accuracy. And the feel off the face. Unbelievable. I don't even feel the ball coming off the face. Out of the box, I am throwing darts in my first two rounds. Great job Callaway.

I had Ping Zing 2 irons and felt I was missing something, distance. SO after trying several other brands I kept going back to the Razor Black. I have gained 10-15 yards per club and being fitted also helps. My shots are much straighter and solid showing improvement in my scores. Best golf purchase I have ever made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love my Razr X Blacks. They simply are great! They have a large sweet spot, forgiving but very playable, added distance, great feeling and look great! Forewarning: the black on the sole and club face do wear down but it is still a great looking club. You will not be disappointed in buying this club. Great job, Callaway. You have out-done yourself, again.

Have had these irons for 1 week and could not be happier. The accuracy from these irons is unbelievable. Third time using them, Hole in One. They are forgiving, they give you confidence, and the Blacks look great in and out the bag. AWESOME POWERFUL CLUB. Only wish you had a choice of shafts.

was fitted for these at the company hq in carlsbad,ca. replacement for my cherished x-24hots. these clubs r so smooth and easy to hit. no glare in the sunlight, big plus! clubs are long off the turf and they glide through the rough. best game improvemnt irons out there. winners play Callaway!!!

Im an Amature Golfer who's been straggling with Various Brands. I usually Score High 90's to Low 100"s, I know its Pathetic. Im a strong Driver with average 280-320 Yards. its when i'm at the short game when i mess up. I recently Received this set as a Birthday gift and right away went to the Driving Range to Test them out. I played last sunday and Score 88, the Lowest score Ive gotten in a while. I played again today at a much tougher course and scored 88 as well. I can see a big improvement on my short game and my Driver increased by 10 plus yards which helped me get Birdies. I love this clubs and would Recommend them to Struggling Golfers like myself.

Great clubs. Long (stronger lofts), consistent, accurate, forgiving. Point and shoot. Not as easy to work the ball, but you really don't need to as they go where you point them (ironically I play a small fade with these even with the offset). Good feel to the clubs but slightly muted if you like being able to tell exactly where you hit the ball on the club face. The smaller club face appeals to the lower mid-handicap player that prefers a cavity back non-forged iron but wants a better player type iron. This is an advanced game improvement iron that is suitable for 5-20 Handicap players. The black finish will fade on the club face and bottom but that should be expected and the finish holds up well with use. They do get up in the air easily and are not as easy to flight down as some clubs. Again, point and shoot consistency and forgiveness leads to slightly less playability.
Overall, Great Clubs for all levels of golfers. Great for the higher handicap player that needs forgiveness and great for the mid-low handicap looking to get from that 82 to a 78 by hitting greens more consistently.
I love mine and have seen an improvement in Greens in Regulation- Thus, bring on the Birdie Putts!! (7 handicap & former collegiate golfer)

I originally had the Razr X irons and loved them. Then I tried the Black X. OMG!! The distance, accuracy was amazing. These clubs felt, swung great and did what I wanted.
******Now for the bad part. The "Special" PVD black wears off so quick off of the face that it makes it difficult to concentrate on swing as you look down.*******
If only Callaway would make these clubs in all Stainless (same weight, same cavity, same feel).... WOW!! What an idea. Wish I worked at Callaway, cause this idea would be a keeper!!
PS. I am a 8 hdcp and hit my 8 iron now 170-185. Easily 15 yards more than the Razr X or my old Taylormades.
I am a Callaway Lifer!!!
