Diablo Edge Irons
Awesome irons !!
I was playing a decent set of clubs, but they had some years on them. The Diablo irons added two club lengths to all of my irons. Very easy acquisition from my old clubs to the Diablo's. The hardest part was figuring out the new yardages. Blowing over every green !!! I've never played a set of irons with the forgiveness these clubs possess. Way to go Callaway !!!

Diablo Edge Irons... Greeeeat!
Bought these clubs as a replacement set. Sold my entire set (everything), and started from scratch. After trying many different clubs and doing a lot of reseach, I finally made the decision to purchase the Diablo Edge irons.
I have now played three rounds with the DE irons and they're fantastic! All the reviews are true. They hit longer, for me 1-2 clubs. They are forgiving, even balls not hit solidly go straight and fairly far.
The DE irons really are a game changer. With the added distance I have made a ton of birdies (imagine hitting an 8 iron instead of a 6). Seriously, it almost feels like cheating.
I purchased my old set of irons 15 years ago and they served their purpose. I am a 10 handicap, but with the DE irons that number will certainly go down (probably be cut in half). In the three rounds I've played them, I have shot very near par. I knew equipment made a difference, but what I underestimated was how far club technology has advanced in the past decade.
My only regret is I waited so long, but in reflection I'm glad I held out for the DE irons. If you need new irons I would recommend you consider the Diablo Edge.
On a sidenote, I matched the DE irons with the Diablo Octane woods (Driver, 3,5) and that has made some of the difference as well. If you're looking for a complete replacement, this pairing has worked nicely for me.

Best Irons Ever- HANDS DOWN!
My review summary says it all! I have pretty much owned/tried all brands of Game Improvement Irons. I don't feel like you can even compare any of those irons to the Diablo Edge Irons. They are in a class all by themselves!
The biggest difference is how you can hit the ball almost anywhere on the clubface and still hit a good shot that gets plenty of height and distance! When you hit one in the middle, the distance is ridiculous. Before I bought these I was playing a very good set of Irons- Same brand that Tom Watson plays :) But when you caught shots out near the toe, you would lose a lot of distance. With that set, when I hit one pure with my 5 iron, it went about 170 yards. I hit the Diablo Edge 5 iron about 185-190 yards! I can smash the 4 iron 200 yards off the ground and about 205-210 yards off the tee.Like I said- RIDICULOUS!
If you are one of the lucky ones who gets to play and practice several times a week, then you can probably play some clubs that are less forgiving and look a little more like Players Irons... For the rest of us who don't have tons of time to practice but want to hit great shots and shoot good scores when we do play, these are the HOLY GRAIL of Irons. I am not exaggerating one bit.

Simply the Best
Played my first round with the new irons on an executive course...hit the green on every par 3...have never come close to doing that. These are long and straight. Even stuck one with my 4 iron. I highly recommend these irons. They are longer and straighter by far than any I have played. I will be adding the 3h or 3 iron to the set.

Very high launching and straight
I waited until I had nearly two seasons with these irons to write an unbiased review. I am a mid handicapper, and I bought these due to their SGI label. I can say as I've grown use to them I'm launching these high and straight. If you play in windy weather these may not be for you, but if you play in nice climates usually then you can't go wrong with these. I have every single iron and wedge for this set. I would say to stick with the irons, but not the wedges. The wedges are a bit too thick and don't allow for much spin. I recommend these for any beginner looking to upgrade and even mid handicappers. Lastly, Callaways standard grips are a bit small for me so I threw on some mid size tour velvets from Golf Pride and absolutely love them. I forgot to mention even with the high launch these have good distance. I usually hit my 7 iron about 150, but I've grown to trust my 7 on this set on Par 3's that measure 160 and up to 170 depending on pin placement.

These Clubs Rock
Bought these to replace my 2006 Big B's. Called the trade in/trade up desk and spoke with Ryan who worked out a smokin deal for me. I was even able to get a set nearly new's. And trust me, they are truly like new!!!!!
Had to go for instant gratification so I upgraded to next day shipping and even that was a smokin deal. Took them to the range during lunch. Like all the reviews say, "definitely a full club longer." Scary long and accurate!!!
This is my second time using the pre-owned desk, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade. They hit another one out of the park!!!

Well worth the price!
Upgraded from an older Callaway model iron set. The Diablo Edge irons feel like the sole of the clubs are better weighted when striking the ball. Shots seem to fly truer.

New all over again!
I am back to the game after a 30 year layoff. My last set was a set of Wilson Staff Sam Snead Signature blades with persimmon woods! I still had all my old bad habits, thuugh, so I took a lesson or two and bought a set of Diable Edge irons with graphite shafts and boy, was I ever surprised! Accurate and long! 150 yards used to be a 5 iron, now it's a 7! Wish I had purchased steel shafts, though. The graphite shafts are dead as a doornail, though that may be a hidden blessing with the arthritis in my hands! I love the clubs!
