Hawk Eye VFT Irons
BEST SET OF IRONS I EVER HAD
After playing the S2H2 irons both the steel shaft and the graphite shaft I was ready for a new iron, the larger head was easy to get used to. It added 15 yards to my 3 iron and about 10 with my 7,8,9 and wedge and also improved my accuracy. I am 60 plus years old and can still hit it with the younger guys

great set of all around clubs
Got these clubs to replace similiar set with steel shafts. Like the extra power from the graphite shafts.

Best cast clubs ever made IMO!
If you can't hit these, it's not the clubs!

These sticks are Callaway at their best!
I have owned four different sets of Callies, & although each set were very good, these are very special. Quality, looks, feel & playability are all in this package. Being a lefty, I was very pleased to find a set. If you are in the market for a new set you should give them a serious look. I have played a lot of different irons & these are some of the finest. Callaway pulled out all the stops on these puppies. A long time pro & very good friend of many years once told me that just because it's new doesn't make it better.

a very good iron with good feel and easy to swing
I made the switch from hogans and I even had a set of adams but I like the feel and when I swing them alot better than the adams. And they were hybred irons

Bought these irons because I was shanking my 5-6 irons from my set of Cleveland CG Black. Hawk eye VFT had some of the highest Maltby playability factor scores of any irons and I needed to restore my confidence.
They are very solid and I do not shank them. But they are 10-20 yards short of modern irons because of weaker lofts and shorter shafts. If your goal is to confidently hit the ball solid where you intend to hit it, these are great irons. If you're losing distance with age as I am, they exacerbate that problem compared with more modern irons.

Good old timers (10 years old now)
Fantastic clubs.Have played them for 10 years now in the UK and they are still as good as when I got them. Have replaced the graphite 5 & 8 iron shaft and it looks like the 5 iron need re-shafting soon again. Last time I was told that I might not get the same shaft again given the age of the clubs and new product developments. A new shaft is £80 or $130. Maybe soon have to change the entire set but to what?
Also have a set of X20 in the USA - not in the same league.

Definetly would buy again
These clubs feel good when you stand over the ball. Large sweet spot and solid feel lead to instant confidence.
