A golfing buddy had this model and allowed me to try it. It worked so well that I bought one for myself. This is older technology, but for my swing it works better than other drivers I've purchased for over 3 times as much. I'm 64 and have been playing golf since I was 16. I typically play about 4 times a week year around and this is, hands down, the most reliable club in my bag.

Like this driver. However, played with it a couple of times and a chip came off the topline of the head. Not a small chip but a big chip and I did not get under the ball. I probably tee my ball lower than normal for accuracy.

Driver is nice, has a nice balanced feel. Not too light or not too large. You shouldn't be disappointed.

I had trouble staying in the fairway before I tried the Callaway Drivers, with a 112 swing speed I was hitting high slices into the trees.........
I borrowed a GBB II last summer for a week and hit it straight immediately.
Then, I discovered this site and bought the GBB II, the GBB II 415, and the X fairway woods.
I like all of them!

I upgraded from my taylormade burner bubble and let me tell, I was so reluctant to pull my driver out of my bag as fear of that I might slice. But I found a new confidence with this club when I stepped in the tee box. I have gained about 30 to 40 yards off the tee. With such a large sweet spot, even mishits go pretty far. but a bad shot is just that, a bad shot. I have owned the club for about 2 seasons now.[...] I am ready to upgrade to another callaway driver. I have been looking. But I would definatley recomend this to anyone who wants a forgiving club off the tee and I think is very easy to hit

I wanted a lower loft club for more distance because I hit a high ball. This 9degree driver is great for me.It's large sweet spot is very forgiving. I love this club. It has given me more confidence and changed how I play. It's great!

Starting to really get into golfing and although I have a smooth swing, this really helps my game. I'm not the biggest guy, but right now I can drive with the best of them. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

This club was sent as VERY GOOD and looks like it has never touched a ball! It is like new. A little bigger than my old Biggest Big Bertha, circa 1995, but still has the sweet swing. I am not the greatest golfer but there is no reason why I can't have quality clubs!
