Mack Daddy 2 Chrome
The Mack Daddy of Wedges
I tried out a lot of wedges this year and none of them had what this one does. It has a great weight and feel to it when you’re swinging it or just holding it in your hand. I liked the control I had over every detail of my balls flight with this club. It’s easy to manipulate the face and still feel comfortable at address. Do you miss the center of the face when striking the ball? Don’t worry this club has some forgiveness to it. It really powers through the rough grass and the ball still comes out soft if you want it to. Also plays great from really tight lies too. I like them so much I wish Callaway made Mack Daddy Irons!

Don't get stuck chasing a name...
I purchased the 52 degree wedge (eventually bent it to 50 deg) hoping to find that perfect 100yrd club, something I could use anywhere I wanted from the fairway for short shots. I tried it for a while and then bought a 50 degree Titleist SM4, but wound up back with the MD 2 because it just felt so much better. Soft but solid with plenty of bite with even half shots, only a forged stick feels that good. Since then, I've added the 56 (bent to 54) and hope to soon have the 60... Try these out before chasing a name, do your research and give these wedges a chance.... you won't regret it...

56°-14° S Fujikura 85 Wedge
This SW found a place in my bag immediately. I used a Ping Zing 49.5 copper beryllium successfully for years, but after putting X2 Hot 7 - AW irons in play needed another loft for getting out of sand. Tried X-series wedges (not SW) and Forged Copper SW without success. Didn't think I would like the "S" sole -- prefer the "C" sole for chipping around green, but it has worked and my sand saves have improved with recent percentages reaching 100% (1 for 1, 2 for 3, etc). Also distance has improved for non-bunker shots. It has surprised me !

Best wedge I have ever owned
From the first time I hit it, it feels as if the balls grabs the face, I'm always worried about the ball running up the face but not with this wedge. I can hit all the shot around the green, open the face up and blast out of the bunker with confidence. The distance is a few yards longer than my X Forged wedge which I have to adjust to or get rid of my PW and carry 4 wedges which I'm seriously considering. (46, 50, 54, 58).

I have always used the wedges that came with full iron sets, so this is my first forged "specialized" wedge. Played 3 rounds and 3 practice sessions. Very nice. Being consistent has been the most rewarding aspect of these wedges. The spin I gained was outstanding! Still dialing in my distance, but already totally confident and comfortable with them. I was able to add 1" and thicken the grip when I ordered straight from Callaway and that was really nice too. Never going back to "set wedges" again. VERY HAPPY with my purchase.

I feel that this is the best Callaway wedge I have ever used. I have 8 Callaway wedges. The quality, look, feel, and performance are great. I got the 56 degree, 14 bounce with the C grind. It is the best wedge I have ever used.

Wow great wedge. Cuts through the turf like a hot knife through soft butter.
Highly recommended. Love to pull this club out of my bag.
