Odyssey White Hot Pro #7 Putter
Overall great putter features with the best insert
I have been a huge fan of Odyssey putters for a very long time and had a rossie XG putter years ago and gave it to my brother. I have always wanted a #7 Odyssey, but have not liked any of the inserts until this series with the White Hot Pro. It is soft, but not too soft and not as hard as the metal X face. This is truly a huge improvement for this putter. The gunmetal color is also the perfect shade to deflect glare and allow you to focus on alignment. If I were to give any criticism it would be that they increased the head weight from 343 to 350 and made it a little bigger in size and width than the other #7 series? If this White Hot Pro was 343 grams and the size of the metal X #7 it would be absolutely perfect. That, however, is being very picky and I am very pleased with it as it, because the insert is the key to any good putter anyways. Great job Odyssey!

Had an Odyssey Sabertooth Putter prior to this one but this one has helped my putting completely. Easy to line up and great feel.
Love it :) :)

FOUND MY PUTTER
HIT EVERY PUTTER IN GOLF GALAXY FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF, NOTHING MATCHED THE FEEL AND PERFORMANCE OF THE WHP 7 FOR ME. LOVE THE CLEAN SIMPLE LOOK. THIS WILL BE IN THE BAG FOR A LONG TIME.

I've used the Metal X and the White Hot 2-ball in the last few years and this putter is much better! Easier to align. Nice and heavy. The insert is easier on the eyes than the Metal X that tended to glare. The finish is cool but looks like it is easily scratched and blotched.

Excellent Putter - Good feel and Balance
Excellent Putter - Good feel and Balance. My only complaint is the cover stays on with a magnet and it can easily fall off. So if you leave the cover off, the other clubs can get scratched.

The price drop from older models seems to coincide with a drop in quality.
This putter seems to be a decent value buy for the weekend hacker, but not for a golfer who wants a quality putter to have for many years. The white painted portions appear to have been done with white out and the lines are not even tight. In addition, if you do not dry every crevice of your putter it will rust in as short as 24 hours, and cosmetic wear is not covered under Odyssey warranty. Overall, the new insert is pretty good, but the sound and feel of the head maintain that feel of subpar craftsmanship. For now, I'm going to stick with my White Hot XG 2.0 #7 and hope that the next generation of Odyssey putters is better.

Great putter, great feel
I'd been waffling about buying a good putter because my cheap one seemed OK. After finding a great deal on a White Hot XG for my my wife, I started looking for something for me. Callaway's pre-owned site offered this White Hot Pro #7 at a discount so I ordered it and had it in my hands in Canada within 24 hours. Turned out to be like new and included headcover. It has performed really well in play. I love the feel -- I'm more confident with the nail-biter 4 or 5 foot putts, and I'm sinking more long ones beyond 10 feet. Thanks Callaway!
