Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clubs are great & shipped fast! The clubs arrived within just a couple of days, and are in near perfect condition. From shipment, they show only signs of play that would be consistent with maybe one or two rounds. I have ended up filling the rest of my set from this site. I got them for half the price of what they would have cost brand new. I'm very pleased!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You don't need to be a scratch golfer Upgraded, with fear, from my x20's. After hearing and reading so many positives about these irons, I committed myself to getting a set and come yell or high water, learn to use them. Well I don't have an invite to the Masters, but I am loving these things. A well struck shot is a joy. Shaping shots with success is a thrill and man, do they ever look nice at address! Mid handicap, schmandicap!, I'm having some fun. You don't need to be a tour pro to hit these and be satisfied with the results they give for the effort applied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Affordable upgrade I finally upgraded from my MIzuno 32s which I've played for the last six years. Pre-owned worked for me because I don't play as much as I used to and was looking for something affordable that would provide better performance. I hit the x-forged one to two clubs longer than my 32s and mishits are less penalizing. Overall very good product at a reasonable price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feel In the past I have stuggled with a very high ball flight, ballooning into the wind and some inconsistent distance control, Since puchasing these irons my distance control has been great to say the least, the shafts I chose with my irons are PXI 6.0 , feedback from mishits is great. They let me know exactly what my miss was without even looking at the club but yet the forgiveness is better than i expected it would be. Flight control is easy to launch the ball high or play a controlled knock down into the wind. I absolutely love these irons. It will be a long time before I will consider switching. I have tryed lots of irons but these I have to say are the nicest I have ever played.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Go for it These irons were a huge step and a challenge I'm glad I took on. My previous irons got great reviews, and everyone agreed that for distance and forgiveness, they couldn't be beat at that price. But here's the thing: I didn't want forgiveness. I wanted to stop sinning in the first place. I had been practicing my irons mostly with a nice blade 6-iron I had a clubfitter friend of mine make for me. It was rough going at first, but once you've gotten used to the shotmaking possibilities and the sweet smack of a good muscleback, it's hard to go back. It took me a couple of weeks to get used to them--I was also using 6.5 shafts for the first time--and the sweet spot feels like a quarter in size, but man do I love these clubs. I didn't realize how much until a coupla weeks ago when I had about 160 to the flag, but was in the treeline off the L side of the fairway--couldn't even see the green. Huge bunker on the right side. Any kind of game-improvement club, no shot except punching it out and hoping to run a little up the apron. These clubs: I could actually hook a high draw and maybe even save par. I didn't save par, but I executed the shot to about 20 feet onto the fringe of the apron. Someone with a lot of experience told me once that if you're a serous golfer, you should always be working two bags--the one you're currently playing, and the one you *want* to play. As great as these clubs are, I'm already looking forward to the new APEX musclebacks. As a long-time Callaway customer, I am very pleased with the new developments.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Impressed I found that for a 12 handicap these clubs were a bit more than I expected. I haven't purchased a set of clubs in 14 years and to my surprises these felt GREAT. Please also keep in mind the only thing I don't like about these clubs are from "ball striking". I have a tendency for my misses to be out on the toe of the club and I have to say that with a fairly hard swing, these miss hits are what I call a "hand shaker" and they hurt. Long story short, I have made my adjustments over the last 16 rounds of golf this month and I am hitting them better than ever. I have also found that with this combination of club and shaft, I can work the ball with ease and making some shots that I would have never even looked at easy to accomplish. I love the trajectory and the good shots feel great. The distances I haven't gotten down yet, due to concentrating ont he ball striking, but I think they are about 7-9 yards longer than my old clubs. All of the reviews that I read prior to purchasing these clubs were spot on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Feel I picked up these after deciding that even though I'd suffer at first, I'd be better served in the long run by playing better, less forgiving clubs so I could really learn my swing. Yes, the first few times were less than inspiring, but I've really started to feel a repeatability in my swing without being rewarded with a decent shot from a mishit or poor swing. Speaking of feel, they are ridiculously soft feeling. Paired with a low compression ball (Callaway Supersoft) it's really nice.
