X-24 Hot Irons
Awesome Set of Irons
I have played Callaway irons for years and these were a replacement for the X-18s. You will need a round or two in order to adjust to the added length from the stronger lofts. I purchased 4-PW,AW,SW. The only draw back, and it is a minor one, is that Callaway decided not to offer a Lob Wedge in the X-24s. As always, the customer service at Callaway Pre-Owned is the best, hands down.

They were suppose to be in "Like new" condition but were actually brand new! Still in wrapper and everything! Awesome clubs

Some like it hot
I purchased both irons 4 - AW, a 2 & 3 hybrid, a fairway wood and a draw set-up driver and saved money by going with the pre-owned clubs. The arrived with new grips and looked and played like brand new. I've used these a year now and they have definitely helped my game as I feel the uniflex shafts are more aligned with my swing speed than a regular flex. I have more confidence in my shot making with these clubs.

Satisfied with purchase of X-24 Hot Iron
Can't wait 'til spring. I do play winter golf in upstate NY and the clubs play well in 30-40 degree weather.

I'm a 62 year old Tennessee fan with a 7 handicap who plays weekly and I love the look of these clubs, dark metal with orange highlights ... go Vols !!! However, I'm extremely disappointed in the playability of these clubs. They feel "heavy" and I've lost distance with every club in the set even though most have stronger lofts than my old X-12's.
I've been using Callaway irons ever since the X-12's came out. I've purchased the X-12's, X-16 Pro Series and now the X-24's all in graphite, regular flex. I've played about 12 rounds with the X-24's and have reluctantly decided to "shelve" them and return to my X-12's. The X-12's feel lighter and the club faces are about a 1/4" wider than the X-24's. Consequently I believe the ball travels farther because I swing the old X-12's faster and off center hits go further. The X-24's do seem to fly straighter on off center hits and don't seem to curve as much as my X-12's on fade and draw swings. However the loss of distance and the stiff, heavy feel of the clubs results in poorer ball strikes, for me at least.
Finally, for those that are concerned about buying clubs from the Callaway Pre-Owned Outlet, don't be. I purchased the "like new" conditioned clubs that turned out to be "brand new". My guess is that these clubs were returned by a dealer to Callaway and therefore cannot be sold as new.
Even though nobody asked I will say a few other things about Callaway; 1) the Callaway Customer Service folks are fantastic, 2) the club repair guys "rock" as they repaired and reconditioned my old X-12's after I accidentally ran over them breaking all the shafts and they looked like new when returned and 3) don't bother with their club fitting service in Carlsbad. I flew out there and spent about 4 hours after which they suggested the X-16 Pro Series irons which I bought and never did hit very well. Oh well, two out of three ain't bad.

I bought these clubs in August 2011 and have played probably 40 rounds with them. I read the reviews on these before buying and felt very confident...however the end result has been horrible. I've always depended on my iron game, which is usually spot on, but when I bought these, it was like I had never hit a golf ball. For some reason these clubs have a wicked hook, draw... tree finder..whatever you want to call it. I have taken these back to the retailer to have them check the degree, angle to make sure they were straight or not a draw set that I missed. I'm very frustrated with them, and wish I could get more on trade in, cause I would get rid of them now. I can't say I would recommend these.

These are great irons.
These irons are easy to look at and easy to hit. They also as long as any iron I've hit.
