FT Optiforce Fairway Woods
Long, High, and Straight
I am a senior who uses the 5, 7, and 9 Callaway fairway woods. Unless I mishit the ball, the flight is long, high, and straight. The ball also lands softly with little roll. As a result, balls stay on the green when hit from the tee, fairway, or rough. Callaway optiforce fairway woods are the best on the market today.
P.S. I also use the optiforce driver and set it for 11 degrees. It may be the best driver ever made.

Easy to hit
These fairway woods are easier to get in the air than most fairway woods I have owned. But the key is not to swing too hard even though they are lighter. And very long.

Great 3 wood! Mitsubishi shaft is a +!
Good distance with a solid sound at impact. This club is visually stunning, and the Mitsubishi shaft option is a winning combination. Better players will notice a cosmetic wearing of the lower face finish, sweepers will not. I like a flat sole plate for fairway strikes, but it works well of the tee too. Love the classic look at address.

Pure swing, great weight and feel. Never mind best looking 3 wood ever.
Club is incredible. Callaway out did themselves with this one. When I went to the store needing a 3 wood, I tried all Callaway models and other brand models of woods. This one felt amazing from the second I put it in my hands. The weight, feel and looks are unrivaled, not only in your hands but as you are swinging the club too.
Contact feels pure. Looks at address can not be beat.
Just like many things in life, the extra money is WELL worth it. Even my friends and my playing partenrs love the club as I do, and reiterate all the above statements. When they really need to get a hold of one, they leave there 3 wood in the bag, and ask me to use mine.
Buy this club. I'm counting down the days for the OptiForce Hybrid.

Best of both worlds!
I've played both the RFX 17* and the XH 17*, until this was released... I can say, without a doubt, this will stay in the bag. An excellent combination of forgiveness and distance. Great new line-up, Callaway.

FT OptiForce 3 & 5, Project X PXv 53G Graphite, 5.5 flex, fwy wds
These recently purchased 'light swing-weight' (D0), 'like new (wrapper still on head)' clubs work well for me. I have learned to hit the 3w as long as my X Hot 14.5 deep (Project X PXv 5.5). With improving confidence in 5w, I've hit a 185-200 yd Par3 green (into wind, water hazard & low bunker left, large elevated front right bunker with 8 yd opening for run-on) twice in row -- never happened before in 20+ years of playing this hole. The clubs are very accurate and are longer with my long, smooth swing and are workable (left and right). I like the black head color with small red graphics more than the 'at address' view of my X2 Hot 3w and 5w (blue shaft) deep. My driver is the OptiForce 440 (currently set at 9.5 N) with stock Project X PXv 43G, 5.5 flex, graphite shaft.

WOW I can't say enough
I have never been able to hit fairway woods really well. I purchased the Driver, 4 wood and 7 wood. All I can say these clubs are for real and do exactly what Callaway says they will do. LONG AND STRAIGHT. I hit them from the tight fairways and from the ruff. They are sooooo easy to get in the air. It caused me to buy the 9 wood too.
I hit the driver long and straight. I was out driving my playing partner by 20 to 25 yards.
You must try these clubs, they are a sleeper and a keeper. You can get these for a good price now too.
I usually get new clubs on a regular basis, basically because I can't hit fairway woods. BUT these are really easy to hit. Give yourself a break, and try these. I do not think you will be disappointed at all.

Easy to hit
I can't hit a 3 wood but I can hit this 4 wood and get it in the air. It has a sweet sound on impact and a nice high trajectory.
