Really enjoying myself out there.....
Before switching to the X Hot fairway woods I was your typical short-but-straight ball hitter.... you know, reaching very few greens in regulation (driver-fairway wood - medium to short iron)..... hoping your short game is good enough to get you close to the pin so that a one or two putt let's you escape with nothing worse than double bogey.... average score mid-80's to low 90's.... and working way too hard to even accomplish that some times.
Now, happy to report a very nice turn-around that began with the X Hot, R flex, 21*, 7 wood. After a little practice and a couple of rounds, I found I was hitting it substantially further and much more accurately, than the 5 wood I was carrying. Pleased with those results, I added the 25* 11 wood figuring it to be a good replacement for my 6 iron that I never could hit worth a darn anyway. Once again, the results far exceeded my expectations. This was getting VERY exciting.... my need for more distance and accuracy with a short, smooth, controlled swing was being met !!! (I can get WAY out of sync when I try to swing harder).
So now, daring to dream, I added the X Hot 4 wood to the mix. I considered a 5 wood, but the 4 wood put a four degree loft gap between my woods (17*/21*/25*)... this just seemed to make sense.
I started hitting the 4 wood off the deck and measuring the results with my GPS device. In many instances (not all, of course) I found I was hitting it further than my driver !!!
So, I took the 4 wood to the tee box.... and you know which club came out of the bag.... you guessed it..... Mr. Driver is on vacation. The 4 wood was every bit as long off the tee in most instances.... but a ton more accurate. (It's true folks, golf from the short grass IS decidedly more enjoyable).
My latest addition was the X Hot 3 wood..... only 'cause my addiction for distance with accuracy needed to be fed. The results so far have not been as anticipated..... they're good, and expected to improve as I work more with the club. My transition to all XHot fairway woods took just over two months to complete. It was a planned process that is finally paying off, and I'm still working with all the clubs in order to maximize their performance.
So, to wrap this up...... do I like these clubs? You bet I do. (I wouldn't spend this kind of time if I wasn't very pleased with the results).
Would I recommend them? They're definately worth a try. Will you hit the 4 wood 220 and down the middle? I don't know. My best is still averages around 190 to 205.... mishits still roll out surprisingly well (but that's me, and it's a great improvement). Will these clubs make you or me a scratch golfer? I seriously doubt it, but I do know that I really like what they've brought to my game. I'm finding more fairways off the tee, I'm reaching more greens in regulation (and with less effort), my scores are becoming consistently lower, I'm playing more confidently and aggressively, but most importantly....... I'M REALLY ENJOYING MYSELF OUT THERE. And that my friends, is what it's all about !!!!

Best fairway woods in the world!!!!
I was hitting with some 5-6 year old Cleveland Hi-Bores which I really like....but the x-Hot Callaway Fairway woods are long, accurate and easy to hit (fairway and rough). I wish I had bought these last year....but I save a lot of money getting them from Callaway Pre-Owned. You can't go wrong with these woods. I own the 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11. I replaced a 4 and 5 hybrid with the 9 and 11 fairway woods and it's the best decision I ever made.

As solid as can be
This club has a rock solid feel when striking the ball. After owning the club for a month, I have an incredible feeling of confidence whenever I address the ball with this club----confidence that the ball will travel within 5 yards of "my" distance, confidence that the ball will be on-target almost every time. I love this club.

The entire spectrum, except the 7 wood which I hit low, are easy to hit and predictable for distance and direction.

straight flight and good distance
the first time i hit my 3 wood it flew long and straight. these are great clubs. i am not surprised, callaway continues to develop better and better clubs. i would definitely recommend these for any level of player.

Best Fairway Woods I have ever used
I will be 72 years old in February. This year I purchased the X Hot 3 and 5 Fairway Woods from Callaway Preowned. I found that I hit the 3 wood off the tee as far as my driver with consistent accuracy. The driver is now resting in the garage. The 5 wood gives me the ability to be on the green in regulation on the long par 4's. It's totally changed my game and increased my enjoyment.

Fantastic Clubs as usual
I have been using Callaway woods my entire 40 years of playing golf and still have never changed brands and don't plan to. As a matter of fact I finally switched from Ping to Callaway Irons after the same 40 years of only using Pings.
The X Hots feels great - nice and lite and the alignment aids are a big plus. I bought the 10.5 degree driver new at a local PGA store and love it - but the deal I got on my 7 and 5 woods at Callaway Pre-Owned was fantastic. The 7 wood still had the plastic wrapping on it and the 5 would looked like it was hit perhaps three times.
So bottom line is Callaway is great and I wouldn't think twice about buying more clubs from Callaway Pre-Owned. And the Salesperson was exceptional - he new his product, understood my questions and convinced me that what I was buying made sense.

Overall great design. Best fairway I've ever hit.
The condition of all three xhot fairway woods I ordered were like brand new. These woods are easy to hit off the tee, off the fairway and even from the rough. The rounded front edge facilitates the club head sliding through grass. If you hit the ball anywhere on the face the ball generally comes out fairly straight but when you get the sweet spot, wow, what a sound and feel. That is why I play golf, for those moments.
