Perhaps it is the best ever fairway wood from Callaway
I have been hitting a lot of fairway woods from different brands and I believe Steelhead III is the best one I have ever used. It has a relatively compact head and VFT giving me a good feedback of good shot and ability to hit in different lies and long turf. Now, I can only get this model in the Callaway pre-owned with very good price but almost brand-new product. I highly recommend this to you. It is suitable for golfers from different level. A shorter shalf length when compared to the latest market standard allowed me to swing aggressively and to increase distance in the fairway shots.

Best Fairway Wood ever produced
I've owned several Steehead III's and the 7 and 5 Woods are simply the best fairway clubs ever produced. The sound is incredibly sweet as if the club was perfectly struck each time. Great looks and Callaway's stock shaft suits my swing beautifully

Great sticks -- old is better than new
I tried a Steelhead 3 strong 4wood with a 6.5 rifle shaft and loved it better than my Taylor Made Burner Tour 3wood. I bought both a 3+ and a 7 wood in the steelhead 3 line and they perform just as well as any newer model/brand I have tried and I have tried all the major brands.

IT WORKS!
I'm a high handicap golfer. But I am a golf enthusiast!
Although I used my Steelhead III often over the years, I used the Steelhead III as a trade-in when I purchased new woods. Never did I think I'd miss it! But missed it I did.I used it on par 3's and short par 4's.
I read and reviewed the Callawaypreowned.com wesebsite for over 2 years. Finally about a month ago, the Steelhead III appeared. I purchased it immediately. It's still is and will always be one of my top 3 clubs!

Steelhead? It will steal your heart!
I'm am 85 year old former club maker and readily recognize quality in clubs. I must confess I could never never come close to the Steelhead III in my attempt to match performance and looks in clubs made from separate components. I truly believe the Callaway name also gives me a mental advantage off the tee or in the fairway.
