FT-iZ I-MIX Drivers Club Heads
Having started golf again after 20 years not playing I purchased a set of Edge irons and fairway woods. Love these clubs. I also purchased an FTIQ driver locally. I opted for this over the Big Bertha Diablo as it was more consistant although not as long. Then like most golfers I wanted that extra distance so ordered a Diablo EDGE driver (from Callaway preowned) but couldn't quite get the control right. I then ordered a Big Bertha Diablo and because the sale at the time made it so cheap I also got the FTIZ imix with the Voodo black shaft, both clubs in a draw bias. Having a protruding disc in my neck and Ross River virus causing stiffness in my fingers I have problems with my back swing and this results in a regular fade. The standout of all four drivers for me was the FTIZ as it is as accurate as the FTIQ and with more distance. On the range I was flying over the 200 metre marker (220 yards) and even managed to hit the top of the sign with one drive. Although my eyesight is fading I could manage to see some drives flying 220 metres but lost sight of the roll. This club is now my regular driver. Gave the Diable Edge to the brother in law who loves it more than his own Cobra driver. The other two are both good drivers so will keep as spares to go with my old irons.

Callaway I mix
Awesome driver, great for your novice golfer with all the perks. Very forgiving driver with remarkable driving distance. This driver has cut my strokes down tremendously. Highly recommended! !!

Easy to hit
Replaced IQ, more jump off the face and easier to aim. Good distance. I found it eay to set up and needed no time to get used to.

Long & Straight
I've really enjoyed the i-mix system, experimenting with different head/shaft combinations for feel and launch characterisitcs. The FT-iZ is a very forgiving driver clubhead offering excellent distance. While some may prefer "the visual" of a more conventional shape, the performance will not disappoint.

Just what I needed.
After trying two other drivers I try FT=iZMix head and it has given me the extra 10-15 yards I've been looking for. I did have to make a small adjustment to the club as a whole. My club builder added 2.5 grams to the handle and it gave me exactly what I needed. Great feel, distance and straight. At age 72 it was nice to regain some of the yards I have lost.

i have been hitting this club head for over one year and decided to try the ft-9 and the razr hawk. both of these heads did not sound as good as the ft-iz or as accuate. so now i am trying to find a 10 degree ft-iz head to replace the current 11 degree head i am now using. TO bad callaway stopped making this club.
marketing equipment to keep up with the rest of the industry sometimes burys a great product

Not As Good As FT9
Although I loved my FT-9 (9 degree, neutral), I bought an FT-iZ to see if I could add some distance. No more distance than my FT-9, and my ability to control the shot was not as good. After trying for a month to adjust to the FT-iZ, I put my FT-9 back on my shaft and immediately got my control back. I like to hit a controlled fade, and the FT-iZ did not allow me to control it like the FT-9. Sometimes, newer is not better.

Very happy with the Club. I purchased the V 2 imix shaft. and the distance is crazy long. I had to practice to get the control down, however just like anything with practice improved play will follow. thanks
