    Features & Benefits

In our never-ending mission to find more distance and accuracy for golfers, Callaway Golf’s engineers used an entirely new design to once again produce a driver that’s longer and straighter than anything we’ve ever made. The following technical features are incorporated in to the Callaway FT-iZ driver to accomplish this goal and help golfers break through their speed barrier.

    • Polar Weighting utilizes a heavy face and a heavy in-line power source in the rear of the Callaway FT-iZ, localizing weight at the front and back of the driver.
    • The Chemically Milled Hyperbolic Face Cup uses a chemical reduction process to selectively remove unwanted material for precision thickness control.
    • The Aerodynamic Body Design uses a progressive shape to produce our most efficient high inertia clubhead ever.
    • Fusion® Technology exploits extreme weight placement by utilizing cast titanium, compression cured carbon fiber, formed aluminum and cast steel.
    • High performance Aldila VooDoo shafts are engineered as the ideal complement to the FT-iZ Drivers.

20+ Yards Further Than FT-i Driver I bought this club hoping to increase my distance off the tee. I had an FT-i driver for about 2 years and was averaging about 210 yds. to 220 yds on my tee shots. I wanted a driver that gave me enough distance so that my second shot would not be as long to the green. At first, when I went to the driving range to try out my new club, my drives were very erratic since the club face is a little smaller and not as square as the FT-i. But after making a small adjustment in my swing (hitting down on the ball more), my drives took off. Yesterday when I played, I was averaging between 230 - 240 yards off the tee, and my drives were straight - no more fade. I actually had four pars and a birdie on a par 5 during my round (now if I could only chip better). I was ecstatic, and decided I had to commend Callaway on this club as well as their preowned department. When I'm ready to upgrade my Hawkeye irons, I will definitely be buying through Callaway preowned again. October 2, 2011
Great Driver! Really solid feel and straight. I tend to push the ball right but not with this Driver! March 24, 2012
I am hitting every ball an extra 25 yrds Lightweight club and balanced perfectly March 22, 2012
Finally got rid of my fade Gained 25 yards October 11, 2011
Straight and Long It hits straight and smooth off the tee with improved distance. The club design helps to square the club face. January 14, 2012
Fun to hit The first time I played it was in the wind not just windy, it was Wind. The ball came off the face and drove through the wind right where I wanted it to go. It Fades, It Draws, it goes straight,Its Fun to Hit... November 12, 2011
Excellent trajectory, modest draw immediately created a trust and comfort level with the club October 18, 2011
Love the Club - Just Don't Hit It Well I was custom-fit for an FT-5 four years ago. This year, I've driven the ball better than I have since I was a much younger man. But, I thought I'd try the 3 years newer technology represented by the FT-iZ. So, I bought it, ordering the specs from my earlier fitting. I love the club; I just don't hit it well. Almost all of my drives go left of target and I struggle to make as solid contact as I do with my FT-5. So, I'm sending the FT-iZ back, and have returned to my FT-5. August 17, 2011
