FT Optiforce Fairway Woods
Long, High, and Straight
I am a senior who uses the 5, 7, and 9 Callaway fairway woods. Unless I mishit the ball, the flight is long, high, and straight. The ball also lands softly with little roll. As a result, balls stay on the green when hit from the tee, fairway, or rough. Callaway optiforce fairway woods are the best on the market today.
P.S. I also use the optiforce driver and set it for 11 degrees. It may be the best driver ever made.

Pure swing, great weight and feel. Never mind best looking 3 wood ever.
Club is incredible. Callaway out did themselves with this one. When I went to the store needing a 3 wood, I tried all Callaway models and other brand models of woods. This one felt amazing from the second I put it in my hands. The weight, feel and looks are unrivaled, not only in your hands but as you are swinging the club too.
Contact feels pure. Looks at address can not be beat.
Just like many things in life, the extra money is WELL worth it. Even my friends and my playing partenrs love the club as I do, and reiterate all the above statements. When they really need to get a hold of one, they leave there 3 wood in the bag, and ask me to use mine.
Buy this club. I'm counting down the days for the OptiForce Hybrid.

Easy to hit
These fairway woods are easier to get in the air than most fairway woods I have owned. But the key is not to swing too hard even though they are lighter. And very long.

Best of both worlds!
I've played both the RFX 17* and the XH 17*, until this was released... I can say, without a doubt, this will stay in the bag. An excellent combination of forgiveness and distance. Great new line-up, Callaway.

Great 3 wood! Mitsubishi shaft is a +!
Good distance with a solid sound at impact. This club is visually stunning, and the Mitsubishi shaft option is a winning combination. Better players will notice a cosmetic wearing of the lower face finish, sweepers will not. I like a flat sole plate for fairway strikes, but it works well of the tee too. Love the classic look at address.

Still figuring it out
Well right off the bat the weight of the 3 wood with the PXI 6.0 shaft was just what i was looking for. got the club on a wednesday and saturday i played a round with it. Off the deck my shots had a bit of a fade to them, and i adjusted as necessary. i used it off the tee box on a dog legged par 4 and just crushed it right where i was aiming. on that note, the 3 others playing hit driver about 10-15 yds shorter than my tee shot, so i was definitely satisfied with the 3 wood. ended up shooting a 95, first time breaking 100 and i know this club helped with that only complaint was out of the box there were 2 large stickers on the club head that had the residue melt on to the club head, took about 30 mins and some elbow grease to get off but it came off. other than that i'm really looking forward to getting some range time with it and dialing down my shots.

Way too easy
I never was a consistent 3 wood hitter. So one day, In a Edwin Watts store, I was trying out for some hybrids and bought amazing X Hot 4/5 hybrids. High, long, dead straight and gave me the exact distances I was looking for (195 and 210). After this excellent experience with the hybrids, I asked the clerk what he would suggest for 3 wood. He proposed the X Hot, well...easy call after hitting the hybrids so solid. After 3 shots I decided that the X Hot 3 wood was not working for me. He than suggested the Optiforce fairway wood.
WOW...this was too easy.... Smooth feel in the swing, solid feel, perfect swingweight and just dead solid. I love the look of the club, the face marks...just everything. I can't get enough of it, it is addictive to hit it. I believe the head and shaft work perfectly together. The project pxv shaft is amazing and probably why I hit this thing so well.
I hope for the same experience with the Optiforce 440 driver which I will receive tomorrow. Congratulations for this excellent product.
I never was a Callaway fan. Just didn't like it. In the meantime I bought the x forged irons (beaufiful pxi shafts) with the buttery feel, darn than the hybrids...optiforce 3wood. Now I started to worry and said stop....but I could not and had to get the Optiforce driver.
Callaway is really kicking butt right now. We'll done !!!!!! Hope you continue to succeed in 2014.

Placed 3&5 woods in my bag just before USGA qualifier. These clubs are the reason I qualified for the USGA Senior am. Better than the x-hot pro or extreme. Thanks Callaway.
