Product Overview
The new all-stainless steel Diablo Octane Fairway Woods are built for power. Aggressive VFT Technology precisely varies the internal thickness of the face in each Callaway Diablo Octane to increase the size of the sweet spot and maximize ball speeds across the face. Golfers have the opportunity to choose either Standard models designed for playability and distance, or the Tour models designed for complete workability and distance.
- Aggressive VFT® Technology: Precision shaping of the face thickness in each club increases the size of the sweet spot and generates hotter ball speeds for longer distance.
- Performance Driven Designs: Standard models have larger footprints with a higher MOI and a deep CG for better playability and higher trajectories. Tour models have a smaller footprint, a traditional hosel that inspires confidence at address, and are highly workable with low, penetrating trajectories.
- Stainless Steel Construction: The clubhead is heat treated for enhanced strength, which enables the aggressive VFT pattern, and produces a pleasing, resonant sound at impact.

I have never hit a wood like these. They are smooth and hit beautiuly I have gotten 3 eagles and I get the credit to these woods.

THIS IS A GREAT CLUB, I WAS USED TO MORE OF A SQUARED FACE AT ADDRESS, SO THE 1 DEGREE CLOSED SET UP TOOK SOME GETTING USED TO BUT ONCE I DID, THEY ARE GREAT CLUBS.

A really crisp feel at impact. Club is very workable for fade or draw for so forgiving a club. I would probably prefer a few grams less head weight but overall an excellent club.

These are the tour models, so they might be less forgiving. If you're inconsistent, these clubs might not be as fun to hit as the regular Diablos, and misfires become more evident. However, if you can manipulate your swing and know how to work the ball, these are fantastic clubs.

First time on the course, I was able to hit a 230 yard shot off the fairway with a fade, over a lake and onto the green. Need I say more?
