Product Overview

FT-Hybrids feature Fusion Technology, the superior weight-shifting science used in the Fusion FT-3 Driver and Fusion Fairway Woods. By using multiple materials in clubhead construction, Callaway Golf engineers have optimized perimeter weighting to create a high Moment of Inertia for enhanced stability and forgiveness. The OptiFit System creates two Center of Gravity (CG) positions — Draw or Neutral — for most lofts, providing golfers a configuration that best fits their swing type and shot shape. The end result is exceptional distance, performance, accuracy and confidence.

Comments about Callaway Golf FT-Hybrids (2006):

I enjoy playing long irons but had some inconsistency. Since purchasing my 5H, my confidence and ability to hit shots in key situtations has increased dramatically. I can use the club in a variety of ways including choking down when necessary to hit to varying distances. This club is one of the best purchases I've ever made in golf. I feel bad about pulling my Callaway X20 3 and 4 irons, but sure they would be happy knowing their "cousin" the 5H is doing such a great job in my bag.

I have a calloway FT5 driver and the hybrids from 2 to 5. the 3, 4,& 5 are easy to hit, but the #2 is tough. Every once in a while it makes me happy, but not enough times. However I'll keep trying.

My "go-to" club. When compared to several other manufacturers hybrids, consistently out-performed them. Better feel than newer FT hybrid - similar distance though. MUCH easier to hit than an iron.

Primarily used to get distance out of the rough. It gets the ball up and away from the thickest rough. Off the tee I use it on long par 3 holes. I get nice straight hits, accurate.

Comments about Callaway Golf FT-Hybrids (2006):

I'm a little older golfer so this club allows me to get the distance I once could get with my iron. It does take a while to learn to hit it but once you get that down it is a very consistent club.

Unfortunately, we cannot reshaft any of our clubs at our pre-owned location. You could have it reshafted aftermarket but it would void your pre-owned one year warranty.

I am looking for a nr.3 and like the same stiffness in the shaft

                    A:

I am not sure what shaft flex your Aldila NV 85 is so I am not sure if it will be a senior flex or not. It will list on the shaft what the flex is. If it says L, A, or R2 flex, than that is a senior flex. If you have any inventory inquiries, please call our sales staff at 800-200-4726.

Answered on 11/17/2009 by Mary Cass from 800-200-4726
                  • A:

The "A" should refer to the shaft flex - "A" being what Aldila uses for "Senior".
