This is the driver the shot makers turn to. Versatility, distance and control all in one space-age package. The FT-9 Driver was designed to deliver the most creative shot-making you can think of. Fade it. Draw it. Or take it over the trees. With the addition of Hyperbolic Face Technology, ball speeds across the entire face have been dramatically improved to generate even more distance. Choose between Draw or Neutral configurations with the help of external web weighting that helps precisely position the center of gravity to promote the desired trajectory and ball flight for the desired shot shape. The FT-9 Tour Driver features a slightly open face angle and produces stronger, more penetrating trajectories preferred by highly accomplished players.

  • Hyperbolic Face Technology: Hyperbolic shaping is our cutting-edge driver face design. Mathematics and engineering combine to create our highest ever ball speeds across the entire face.
  • Fusion Technology: Proprietary technology creates maximum perimeter weighting and more discretionary weight by combining a carbon composite body with the titanium face cup. This allows for precise positioning of the center of gravity, which increases stability on off-center hits and enables ball flight customization for shot-shaping control.
  • OptiFit Weighting System: Enables golfers to customize their driver by giving them two center of gravity locations to choose from: Draw for promoting a draw or reducing a slice/fade, and Neutral for maximum workability.
  • Visible External Web Weighting: Fusion Technology allows the web weights to be precisely positioned for a center of gravity that generates the desired Draw or Neutral ball flights, letting golfers hit longer and more accurate drives.

          I'm a huge fan of Fusion technology. I own an FT-3 Tour, FT-5 and now the FT-9 Tour. All three drivers are awesome, but the FT-9 is my favorite. It's very accurate, long and consistant. Mine is fitted with the Grafalloy ProLaunch Blue 65S shaft. WOW, I absolutely love it.

          The rest is A1. Great golf club.

            I currently own a hibore xls, and love it, but this is an amazing driver. It is one of the most accurate drivers I've ever hit! 320 off the tee (no lie, it was measured in an outing) with a perfect draw. It sounds great, feels good, and looks good. The FT9 Tour driver is definetly replacing my Cleveland in about 2 years when the price drops.

                I loved the feel and sound hitting this driver but the best is the engine i put in it, the SHAFT.
                I put in the fubuki 63 R and what a difference in distance 15yrds plus.

                  I have hit many drivers over the last 20 years of playing golf. 4 or so Callaway drivers. This is by far the best. The one deg open FT-Tour has removed my hook, the nemesis of mine for years. This is not only accurate, but the longest driver I have ever hit. The sound is solid and muted at impact. Makes my FT-i look like a trash can lid. No comparison. Best driver I have ever had.

                      This is a great driver.I finally got a driver that would replace the FT3 that I had been carrying.The FT5 was a disappointment and was not near as long as the FT3.I am playing an 8.5 degree FT9 Tour with graffaloy 65x shaft and it is the best driver yet! Anyone that would give this driver a bad rating because they "snap hook" it really has no business reviewing a club.

                          The Tour version will come in half degree lofts and will have a 1° open clubface, and the non Tour version will come in full degree lofts and will have a 1° closed clubface.
