Comments about Callaway Golf FT-3 Drivers:

On an average I've picked up 20~30 yards off the tee from my old driver - I'm nearly 63 years old, and I'm consistently hitting 260+ yds again with a variety of performance balls. Makes the game a little easier for sure. Makes me wonder what an FT-9 would do, but for now I'm perfectly satisfied with this club - an excellent buy. Thanks, Callaway Pre-Owned!

Comments about Callaway Golf FT-3 Drivers:

3 Putt Don from San Jose said that the thud of the FT-3 differs from the ping of his previous driver. Yes, this FT-3 has a distinct "thud" sound and you will grow to appreciate it since this thud is the result of hitting the sweet spot and flush on the driver face. You will hear a slight difference when you miss the sweet spot. I own two of these; I bought a duplicate just in case!

This club is awesome. I used to be a 220yard hitter with a cheap driver. I hit this driver 300 yards last weekend. Amazing feel and the ball just jumps off the driver face. Love it

The FT 3 with the 55 g stiff shaft draw 9.5 loft. what a weapon callaway made. At address it don't look like some of the 460 big head drivers, it sound loud, feel solid i can swing this culb easy or very hard and get the expected result, what ever carbon and fusion mixed with metal is the FT 3 is the best club i have ever had. Don't be surpised a the resonable price of this club it is worth it.

Comments about Callaway Golf FT-3 Drivers:

I tried to really like the Ft3 because I've always enjoyed my Callaway VFT 3 wood. I can hit the 3wood on average 220-235 with a slight draw every time. I've always struggled with a driver..and have tried them all. So...enter thee Callaway Ft3. I never got used to the club...and sent it back to Callaway Preowned for a credit buy back. Callaway Preowned is awesome....great to work with...I'm still searching for the perfect driver!

what is the stock fujikura shaft on the tour model, and what are its specs, if you please?

                  A:

The stock shaft for the FT-3 Tour is the Aldila NVS 65. It will have a regular or a stiff flex and the regular flex is 67 grams and will have a mid torque and mid kick point. The stiff is 68 grams and will have a low torque and a mid kick point.

Asked on 12/8/2009 by wywrdsn from Carpinteria,Ca

                1 answer

                • CUSTOMER CARE

                  A:

Average clubs have been used but not abused. They will show normal wear from frequent play and may have natural scratches, pop up marks and/or bag wear on the shaft. These are great clubs for those looking for performance and value and are less concerned about cosmetics.

              • Q:

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FT-3 TOUR HEAD AND REGULAR HEAD?

                Asked on 11/19/2009 by Anonymous

                1 answer

                • CUSTOMER CARE

                  A:

The only difference in the heads is that the tour heads come in half degree lofts with a .5 degree open face and the regular FT-3 heads come in full degree lofts with a 1 degree closed face.

              • Q:

I was given a Callaway Fusion FT-3 Draw driver with a Graphite W-60 Tour AD shaft. Would you please tell me why it is a Draw (it does not have a hooked face), and what the W-60 Tour AD means?

Asked on 11/6/2009 by Will from Las Vegas

                1 answer

                • CUSTOMER CARE

                  A:

The draw means that the club has a draw bias. This means that there is more weight on the heel of the club which will help promote or draw or help fix a slice. The W-60 Tour AD is a 60 gram shaft with mid torque and a mid kick point.

              • Q:

what does the fade symbol mean on the club head

                Asked on 9/13/2009 by Anonymous

                1 answer

                • CUSTOMER CARE

                  A:

The Fusion driver heads are produced in two separate pieces which enables our engineers to strategically place more weight on the inside of the clubhead towards the heel or the toe. A "Fade" set-up means that more weight was placed towards the toe of the club to promote a fade, or to reduce a draw.
