Comments about Callaway Golf ERC II Drivers:
When my swing is in tune this monster bombs!!! None of my playing partners ever gave me flack that this club is non-conforming to USGA guidelines until I got my swing back. Now they mumble. This driver launches balls and they roll for days. Hitting 330 yards into a par 4 and being less than 90 yards out makes life so much easier. This driver sounds great as well. Considering the amount of time since this driver has been produced you can find one at a steal of a price. One of my favorite Callaway drivers ever!!!

Comments about Callaway Golf ERC II Drivers:
I have owned 2 of these ERC's and I love them. I prefer the ERC over the newer drivers on the market today mainly because of the smaller head. I feel that that the drivers as of late are too big, too many cc's. I just don't get the same accuracy out of the bigger heads as I do with the ERC. If you are on the fence, give this one a try, I feel it's the best driver ever made, hands down.

Comments about Callaway Golf ERC II Drivers:
With the larger clubs I seem to hit in a larger area. This club makes me concentrate and in doing so my drives may be shorter but, they are straight and my second shot sets up well. If I tame my swing the club does the rest. Angle is just right allowing me to actually come close to my drive distance because now I have a roll. My game has improved

Comments about Callaway Golf ERC II Drivers:
When I am playing courses with tight fairways demanding extra accuracy, I leave my big headed drivers in the garage. With the more compact siza and a loft of 12 degrees, the driver can fill a dual role off the fairway taking advantage of more top spin and distance than that of a regular fairway wood or hybrid.
There may be less MOI but I don't seem to be in the woods or OB as much as the players with the 460 cc monsters.

Comments about Callaway Golf ERC II Drivers:
I have tried many drivers and eventually gave up using a driver off the tee because I could not hit the ball straight and long enoough to justify being off the fairway. With this club I am 30 yards further down the fairway and straight as an arrow.

Comments about Callaway Golf ERC II Drivers:
Currently hitting the Steelhead Plus. I was tired of getting outdriven by guys with lousy swings using massive clubs. This club was better for me that the 454 or the "X", but I still hit my Steelhead 20 yards longer and much straighter. I guess the "big head" clubs don't suit me. Anyone got a good persimmon driver laying around?

Comments about Callaway Golf ERC II Drivers:
I used this driver for one complete round. I didn't get the distance I felt should be in the club. I wasn't able to hit it straight consistantly; meaning the sweet spot is smaller than I prefer. The balance just didn't feel right during my swing.
My fault, I need a 10 degree and this is a 9 degree, I also prefer a 460cc, this is a 335cc, so it may be this club just isn't matched to my game.

Comments about Callaway Golf ERC II Drivers:
I bought this used at [...] with a Pro Force stiff shaft and a Callaway grip. I hit it on the virtual driving range and was consistent and fairly straight 90% of the time. It was a steal and I'm anxiously awaiting to take this thing out on the course.
