Superior and classic Callaway. This is a great set for any kid starting out as a golfer. The clubs look very similiar to my own Callaway set which made it easier for my child to enjoy golfing with her dad and know that she will need to take care of her own Callaway Clubs!

Rated 4 out of 5 by champ Set needs a hybrid, but it is beautiful.
Purchased this set for my grand daughter who had her ninth birthday in December, 2011. Since it is winter time in the Northeast, she will not really get to test the clubs until the spring. I am confident, however, that she will find the clubs to her liking.
I have two points of mild concern. First, the packing info that came with the set indicated that the set contained a hybrid. When I called Callaway, I was told that the packing list was a mistake and the set does not include a hybrid. Fine. But I believe that people buying this set would like to have an option of the 5 iron or a hybrid. Most children at the age of 9 do not buy their own clubs; in this case, it was the grand parent. Perhaps Callaway had a reason for not including the hybrid option, but I am convinced that the hybrid would produce more frequent solid impact strokes and would encourage the young golfer.
I ordered the set over the phone and called back about the packing list mistake. In both cases, the Callaway reps. were excellent professionals.

My daughter who is 10 but on the small side just started to play and these clubs are perfect for her. They are longer than they are advertised though which I was worried would be a problem but they are good for her. I play with Callaway clubs and happy that she can too!
