Rated 5 out of 5 by ALR Great beginner clubs, excellent service.
I'm a beginner and had been using cheap knock off clubs. The 2002 Big Berthas immediately improved my game. Hitting the ball more cleanly, getting much better distance, and much easier to get the ball in the air. Very forgiving clubs. The clubs were listed as "good" condition and were in great shape. The only sign of wear were slight scuffs on the shafts that could only be seen if you looked real hard for them. Callaway pre-owned service was outstanding and the ability to get used clubs with customized length and lie has made a huge difference for me.

Got the lie angle adjustment and shaft flexibility I was looking for. Chose Good condition but they look Great to me. Barely a mark on them and all new grips, too. Played them only once, so far, and the course was soaked from heavy rain so it's hard to judge but I'm sure they'll play better than the set I was borrowing from my brother.

I've tried many irons and I went back to Big Bertha 02's for a reason. Big sweet spot, solid feel...great clubs.

These were the clubs I used to have when I shot rounds in the 70's. I traded them in for new clubs and my game was never the same. My first round with these I shot 82 so it's only going to get better.Glad to have them back!

I have owned several different Callaway models as well as Cobra irons. Except for the 2008 Big Bertha 3,4&5 I-brids these are the most forgiving and easiest to hit clubs ever made. I use the 3,4&5 I-brids with my 2002 6-W, fantastic combo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rp an easy club to hit ; nice feel on well hit shots ; great value.
At age 63 I've given up on bladder and stiff shafts. I had a a set of these in 1996 and have never found an easier club to hit since. Age and injuries have raised my handicap from 2 to 12. I don't want to work that hard to get back to single digits. For the price of these clubs it doesn't make sense to go for newer technology. I'll go with these for now and maybe change shafts down the road to fine tune. I have the 1 & 2 irons to this set that have to be reshafted. Off to to the range...
