This fairway metal looks good addressing the ball and picks the ball off the fairway very nicely. Not quite as long as my previous fairway metal but much more accurate.

The sheer size of this 3 wood makes it an excellent choice for 99.5% of all golfers. This club is well balanced, and has loads of distance. You are not punished when you miss the sweet spot. Callaway please bring this massive 3 wood back. This club is an awesome choice when control on a tee shot is required and a driver is not in order (although for me it's almost as long as driver, maybe longer, in some cases).

An excellent Fairway wood, very solid and consistant, I have the matching 5 wood as well and it also is a solid performer. The sound the ball makes off of these clubs says it all.

Good off fairways and tight lies. Hard to get up out of 2nd cut. Still having a hard time shaping shots and will slice with too much power (they all do that).

                      A:

Hey Jaybee. The difference between the two is minimal. Like new means that these clubs have been hit between 0-5 rounds. Outlet are clubs that have not been hit but can not be sold as new. Example of outlet would be floor demos or overstock. Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you. Not totally sure about that, hope you find out exactly from a person or Callaway themselves,,,but I do have something that is somewhat related to your topic since it concerns shafts,,,I recently ordered a men's BB 2007 fairway 3Wood with the 'stiff graphite shaft' thinking it would be stiff like my 2007 BB 9.5 driver's graphite shaft is,,,but it wasn't very stiff at all,,very floppy to me,,,i returned it and went with stainless steel uniflex on my fairway woods, works perfect for me.

What is the difference in a uniflex and a stiff shaft. I play a steel 3plus wood with a stiff shaft. How does that measure up to a uniflex sahft. thanks

                      A:

The uniflex is a steel shaft that plays between a regular and a stiff flex shaft and will adjust to your swing speed. If you play a graphite stiff in your fairway woods than the uniflex should work for you as well.
